North Country Trail Hikers - Winter Snowshoe Hike Safety Net

Thursday, 3/20/2008, Noon to 4:00 pm

Hike is being sponsored by the Northern Center for LifeLong Learning.  Hike leader (Marge, KD8AIL) will be HT equipped.  Request is to have a base station at the Wetmore Landing parking lot (doubles as catering truck!) and a mobile unit or two to follow/parallel the hike on Hwy 510 in case anyone needs extraction due to cold, defective equipment, etc.  The North Country Trail intersects the road 2.7 miles north of Wetmore Landing.  The trail follows the shoreline.
